Cancellation and Refund Policy

Effective 21 July 2026 · Version 2026-07-21

Cancellation

You can cancel a paid plan through Manage billing. Unless stated otherwise, access continues until the end of the current paid period and the plan will not renew.

Usage charges

Reader-transfer overage already consumed remains payable after cancellation. Usage may be invoiced in approximately £50 increments and any remaining balance may be included in the final invoice.

Refunds

Fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period begins or usage is consumed, except where required by law or where Bookly has charged incorrectly. This does not affect statutory consumer rights. If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us within 30 days with the invoice reference.

Payment failure

If payment fails, public access to publications may be paused. Access is normally restored automatically after Stripe confirms payment. Continued non-payment may lead to cancellation and deletion after reasonable notice, subject to legal retention requirements.
